Its been fortunate for the Bollywood Mega star Salman Khan that now he don’t need to appear in Bandra court for the hearing on his Birthday. Salman had to appear in court today in ‘hit & run’ case but today’s hearing has been adjourned till January 30, 2013. The hearing was in connection with an application blaming him of delaying the trial.
One person was killed and four others sleeping on the steps of a bakery in Bandra were injured when Salman’s car Toyota Land Cruiser allegedly crushed them. The incident took place on September 28, 2002.
The trial of this case has been pending for 10 years. Therefore IPS officer turned lawyer YP Singh and his wife Abha Singh filed an application before the metropolitan court, Bandra against the actor blaming him for delaying the trial.
In response to this, the court had issued summons to Salman Khan asking him to be present in court today but today’s hearing has been adjourn
